Achill is the largest Island off the Irish Coast. In her painting, Mary’ s dad (Daniel McSweeney) is in the fourground. The original 3ft x 7ft canvas now hangs in the foyer at Chicago Gaelic Park and was commissioned by the Chicago Gaelic Park Ladies Auxiliary.
