Ross castle was built in 1340, this inscrutable keep has Norman Architecture. Its strong somber feudal walls conjure up thoughts of pageantry and romance, cannons and warriors, ruddy caps and minstrels. Chieftain O’Donoghue Mor was the earliest inhabitant.
